Yes...yes... I know I have not been blogging for many moons now. I have no excuses other than things have been going really nuts for the past months and quite frankly, sometimes I just don't know where to begin, and most of the time I am just lost for words to write. I can't promise you anything but I will try my very best to blog as often as I can.

Seriously, this photo can never justify the amount of joy and gratefulness I have deep down inside (Thank you, Jeff, for making this possible!). To be honest, as I am writing this, I still cannnot believe that I was actually in Japan not too long ago to attend, for the FIRST TIME, a Star Wars Celebration.
How It All Began
Unbeknownst to many, I have always been a fan of Star Wars. Well, I was only 3 months old when Star Wars was first released in 1977. I was very young when "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope" and "Star Wars: Episode V - Empire Strikes Back" were aired on the tele in Singapore. Though I may not understood fully the storyline at that age but what caught my attention was R2D2. When Yoda first appeared in Episode V, I thought this creature's voice sounded waaaay too familiar to me. It was much later on I learned that Yoda was voiced by the same person who also voiced one of my favourite Muppets - Miss Piggy! He is Frank Oz.
I guess I am more fascinated by the droids, the lightsabers and the spacecrafts than the main human characters in Star Wars. I mean, I did find Darth Vader terrifying (and he still is terrifying!) and Palpatine? His face....urgh...outrageously hideous! As a little girl, I found Princess Leia to be very pretty and I would love to be her...well...isn't every girl's dream to be her? As I grew up, and re-watched the movie, I learned that she is one hell of a badass princess!! AND I LOVE HER for it!!
Star Wars Collections
Back then, I didn't have the financial capacity to collect Star Wars toys or anything Star Wars until recently...So, I have been slowly starting to invest in some....Of course, my ulitmate dream is to have all the lightsabers on my wall...So far, I only have one; the one and only lightsaber which I can use for battles...I don't have an update photos of my collections though.... But I DO have these to show!

And I think I have a tad too many Star Wars t-shirts, socks and tote bags!!!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyways, I have compiled together photos and videos of my time in Japan for this spectacular celebration. This is just Part 1 of the whole experience. There are a lot more to upload. These are just some highlights of Day 1. I think sometimes we just need to put our phones down and absorb the ambience, the experience.... Photos and videos of this trip can never justify the whole experience I had. It will always be in my mind...
