This 1920s-style cafe is so popular among the locals and tourists that you must be there early to find a table.

"..try to contain your excitement when faced with the vast range of cakes, pastries, buns and breads." - Clarissa Hyman, July 12 2013 Financial Times
This is certainly hard to do. My eyes would double in size each time I drop by this cosy konditori. Just when you thought you already have an idea what you'd like to get, your eyes are drawn to another piece of cake or bun or both! You end up getting all 3! I was studying at Stockholm University when a senior invited me for fika at this time capsule. Located at Kungsgatan 55, this cafe had undergone renovation and its interior now is absolutely gorgeous. Makes you want to put on that tailored, long daydress with a matching coat, not forgetting a cloche hat and gloves. Carlton, get the car ready, please! #stockholm #sweden #fika #vetekatten #konditori #kungsgatan #pastries #cakes #buns
